Now in Cape Town its just water everywhere and the hint of snow on its way to our highest mountain tops. Council workers try and hold back the mud slides – created by the fires that swept through our mountain ranges in summer. Like cats we all retreat inside curled under blankets. Moods change and therapy might even be needed. Winter is here and its not going anywhere the trees were slightly confused towards the end of May when summer held on for longer than usual. Loosing all their leaves then showing a new bud here and there. The Cape is one very wet place in winter and when the sea decides to put on a display of power we all rush down and watch as it lashes the coast.
